It took me quite a long time to find out but after discarding there wasn´t any kind of lift pump located on the fuel tank (Mondeo MK3 does have one there), and that it was indeed integrated among the common rail pump like other PSA engines usually do. I replaced this rubber seal and now car works like a charm with 270000 Km.
